The Bride and Groom
JENNIFER
Jennifer is most thankful to her parents for the gift of three loving sisters. As the second-oldest, Jennifer spent her childhood playing all different types of sports & reading lots of books. She often took a trips to Radio Shack with her father and played around on the computer. She did something on the computer program causing a bird to fly. She showed her father and he took the mouse from her asking "How did you do that?". He could not figure it out without the help from Jennifer. From there on, Engineering was introduced to her life. After graduating valedictorian from Nashoba Valley Technical High School (where she also took college classes as a senior), Jennifer attended the University of Massachusetts Lowell and graduated with a B.S. in Electrical and Computer Engineering. Jennifer is currently pursuing more education at the graduate level taking online classes at University of California Irvine and University of Massachusetts Lowell, while working full time at a well known defense contracting company.
MICHAEL
Born in Biloxi, Mississippi, Michael grew up with his family in Maine. Michael intook part playing Football, Basketball, and running Track. With a love of computers, he worked to increase his understanding to where he is today. After graduation from Fitchburg State College with a B.S. in Computer Information Systems, Michael moved on to working at fabulous Petco. After a great run of avoiding work and looking at fish Michael moved on to working in web technologies professionally. Now well established he spends his time expanding his understanding and cultivating those skills he has.
HOW WE MET
In 2010 the two were members of the Greek Community at Umass Lowell. Jennifer a member of Alpha Sigma Tau, and Michael a member of Delta Kappa Phi were they encounter each other at several gatherings. The big moment for the two was during the Greek Olympics where Jennifer and Michael met and hit if off. Several nights later Michael ran into Jennifer's sister where he learned Jennifer was at home studying. Michael decided that was not happening and began texting her to hang out, to which she shut her phone off. Over time they found they had similiar interests and liked sharing their own with each other. Eventually the two adopted their puppy Darby who has shared many homes and much love with them.
THE ENGAGEMENT
On a random Saturday night, Jen had stuff to do and Mike ran some errands.
He wanted to think of something special but was way to excited and knew he could not keep it a secret from Jen. He came in, moved all the stuff and computer away from Jen(and of course Jen is like "Mike?! what are you doing?!). He got down on one knee and popped the question!

Searles Castle
Searles Castle was built under the direction of Edward F. Searles, an interior decorator and antique collector. Having traced his ancestry to the Oxfordshire Harcourt family, he engaged the prominent architect, Henry Vaughn to design the castle in the style of Stanton Harcourt Manor in Oxon County, England. The building was completed in 1915 at a cost estimated to have been in excess of $1,250,000. The castle, located at 21 Searles Rd. in Windham, NH, contains 20 rooms.
